Model planes to fly at Mauch Chunk park

Model sea airplane demonstrations and displays will be held at the beach area of the Mauch Chunk Lake Park on Sunday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, weather permitting.

There is free parking and free admission to the event. The food and snack stand at the beach area will also be open and refreshments will be available.

The beach provides an excellent view of the air show that will be presented by the Tuscarora RC Flyers and other model airplane enthusiasts.

Be sure to bring your folding chairs or blankets to enjoy the show.
