Domestic assault

A Monroe County man was arrested this week for domestic assault and other counts.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 1341 Mohican in Pocono Lake on Tuesday, May 3, for a report of an assault. Police said an investigation revealed that Kevin Jackson, 41, had assaulted his stepson by striking him in the face and threatening him with a hammer.

Jackson was taken into custody and charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment, police said.
