Tamaqua man jailed on charges
A Tamaqua man was lodged in the Schuylkill County prison, Pottsville, on Thursday afternoon, May 12, after failing to control his anger management problems.
Thomas S. Ruzzano, 41, of 326 W. Broad St., went to 321 W. Broad St. at 12:28 a.m. where he proceeded to use a brick to pound on the door.
The occupants called the county communications center.
When police arrived Ruzzano told them he was looking for a blond guy who had laughed at him earlier in the day.
Ruzzano was arraigned before District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was unable to post the required 10 percent of the $10,000 bail imposed by the judge.
