Monroe man facing weapons count

A Monroe County man is facing a charge of possession of a prohibited offensive weapon.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Wednesday, May 11, about 1 p.m. officers observed a male walking down Summit Avenue in Pocono Summit. The male was identified as Bobby Taylor, 31, of Pocono Summit. He was asked if he had any weapons on him and he said he had a pair of brass knuckles in his pants pocket. The brass knuckles were confiscated and Taylor and will be charged, police said.
