Carbon driver facing DUI charge
A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 7:51 p.m. Thursday, May 19, along Mauch Chunk Road, in Palmerton.
State police at Lehighton said Blaine Leiby, 40, of Palmerton, was stopped operating a 1994 Cadillac sedan at the above location for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for suspected DUI, troopers said.
