DUI arrests reported
Two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests were reported in Schuylkill County, both occurring on Sunday, May 22.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Marci Luckenbill-Felty, 41, of Schuylkill Haven, was arrested about 1:26 a.m. along SR901 in front of Amigo's restaurant, in Norwegian Township. Troopers said Felty attempted to cross the concrete island and her vehicle became disabled. She was found to be under the influence with the DUI charge pending, troopers said.
About 7:07 a.m. Brittany George, 25, of Minersville, was stopped along SR901 at SPCA Road in North Manheim Township, for suspicion of DUI of a controlled substance.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test. George was also found to have drug paraphernalia in her possession, troopers added.
