Suspect sought in Schuylkill theft
A white male is being sought in a theft incident at a Schuylkill County supermarket.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred at the Giant Market located at 1544 Cressona Mall, North Manheim Township, about 1:18-1:40 a.m. Saturday, May 14.
Troopers said the suspect entered the store with a shopping cart and once inside took numerous boxes of Prilosec OTC heartburn tablets, valued at several hundred dollars, and placed them in plastic bags.
He fled the store and was observed fleeing in a Dodge Caravan, white in color.
No registration was obtained from the vehicle.
The suspect was described as wearing a multicolored (black and white), baseball hat, black shirt, blue jeans shorts, white sneakers and eyeglasses.
