Attempted break-in, theft probed
An attempted burglary and a theft incident were probed by state police at Lehighton.
The attempted break-in occurred at the home of Eric Watson, 35, of Blue Ridge Rd., in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County. Unknown criminals attempted to gain entry to the home by cutting a screen on a window. No entry occurred. The incident occurred sometime between May 19-21.
The theft occurred along SR534 at Head to Toe Fashions, in Kresgeville, Polk Township, Monroe County. Troopers said unknown criminals removed two aluminum down spouts from the outside of the building. The theft occurred sometime between May 1-13.
