Fugitive found in Monroe home

A fugitive wanted in Luzerne County was found in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said they received a tip that Edward Lance, 23, was at a residence in Coolbaugh Township, and was wanted. Police went to the residence and found Lance asleep in a bedroom in the home.

He was taken into custody and later turned over to state police from the Dunmore barracks. He is wanted in Luzerne County on an escape charge, it was noted.
