Salem St. Paul's Lutheran Church
Salem St. Paul will host the Shake it Up Café, where kids carry out God's recipe for living. Vacation Bible School starts Sunday, June 26 at 10:20 a.m. after the worship service, and continues Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The closing celebration will be Thursday at 8 p.m.
The VBS program is for the whole family, with classes for ages 4 through grade 6, with adult classes too. Junior and senior high students are encouraged to come and be teacher's aides, or help with crafts, music, games or snacks.
This year they will have fun in the kitchen while exploring the Bible as a cookbook filled with recipes for living out God's word.
Look for registration forms in the lobby and turn them into the church office, or call Maribeth Dudak (570) 722-2992. They need teachers and helpers so if anyone is interested in volunteering, call Dudak.
New address
Due to Polk Township's new addressing, Salem St. Paul's new physical address is now 138 Trach Road, Kresgeville, PA 18333, but its mailing address stays the same at P.O. Box 168, Kresgeville, PA 18333.
Birthday wishes
Celebrating his 90th birthday on June 26 is Sterling Correll. It was incorrectly stated last week that his birthday was June 3.
