Two local residents graduate from Lehigh

A total of 1,777 Lehigh University students were awarded bachelor's , master's or doctoral degrees during its 143rd commencement ceremonies at Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem.

Ellen Kullman, the DuPont Chair and CEO who was named one of the most powerful women in the country by both Forbes and Fortune magazines, delivered the commencement address.

Local graduates include:

* Chad Gustus of New Ringgold who earned a Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics.

* Carol Stein of Tamaqua, who earned a Master of Science.
