Monroe woman facing theft count

A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of retail theft.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were called to the Shop Rite store in Mt. Pocono, about 4:10 p.m. on Monday, June 13, for a person being detained by store security for theft. The person was identified as Lisa Ann Caprioli, 49, of Cresco.

Police allege that Caprioli attempted to leave the store without paying for $99.59 worth of merchandise. She was issued a citation and released, police said.
