Bishop visit

Bishop Paul Marshall, will be at St. Mark's/St. John's Episcopal Church, Race Street, for the 9 a.m. service on Sunday, June 26. This will be the only service for this Sunday and it will be held in the main church.

A reception will be held following the service in the Great Hall.

Water reports

The annual water report for the borough has been sent to the residents of Jim Thorpe. If you have not received one and are interested in it, please call the borough office, at (570) 325-2181.

Clothing give away

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Old Stage Road, Albrightsville will be collecting clean and used clothing on July 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, July 10, from noon to 4 p.m.

The clothing give away will be held on the following dates: July 13, 14, 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
