Three arrested for Monroe incident
Three persons were arrested by Pocono Mountain Regional police on attempted burglary and related charges.
Police said on Monday, June 13, they were dispatched to 6 Brookville Terrace in Mt. Pocono concerning suspicious activity. Upon arrival officers came into contact with Rusty Smith, 29, of Mt. Pocono, who was a short distrance from the property.
An investigation revealed that Smith had allegely conspired with two other individuals to burglarized the property. He was placed under arrest and charged with criminal conspiracy and criminal attempt to commit burglary and criminal trepass. He was arraigned before a district judge and committed to the county prison in Snydersville in lieu of $20,000 bail.
On June 14 police arrested Gregroy James Gizinski, 24, and Ellen Margaret Roimisher, 23, both of North Haledon, N.J., in connection with the same incident. Both were charged with the same criminal counts as Smith. Both were arraigned before a DJ and committed to the county prison after failing to post $20,000 bail each.
