Weatherly driver cited in Rush Twp.

A Weatherly woman will be cited by Rush Township Police following a two-vehicle accident in the township on June 20.

Sarah Lech, 20, of was traveling south on SR309 in a Subaru Legacy at 2:44 p.m. Lech attempted to turn onto Tide Road and pulled in front of a northbound Ford Crown Victoria, operated by John W. Albert Jr., of Tamaqua.

The Albert vehicle sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene.

There were no reported injuries.
