Support group

The Hazleton Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6 at Faith United Church of Christ, 21 Faith Drive, Hazleton, located off the Airport Beltway, across from Wal-Mart.

The guest speaker will be local chiropractor Dr. Dan Gavio of Griguoli Chiropractic & Rehab Center. He will discuss myofascial release, a relatively new treatment for fibromyalgia, as well as kinesio tape for the treatment of pain.

Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. and are open to friends and relatives, as well as fibromyalgia patients.
