Published June 25. 2011 09:01AM

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 9:58 p.m. on Monday, June 20, along SR183 at Moyer's Dutch Market, in Wayne Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said William Long, 19, of Pottsville, was stopped for a motor vehicle code violation. Troopers previously received a report of a erratic driver in the area.

Long was found to be under the influence, believed to be a controlled substance, and failed field sobriety tests. He was then transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test.

The DUI charge is pending the test results.
