Slatington arrests

Slatington police reported the following arrests.

Justin Ziegler, 22, of 214 Chestnut St., Slatington, was cited for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred about 11:38 p.m. on June 23. Police were called to 203 Chestnut St. for a report of a burglary in progress. As a result of an investigation Ziegler was charged.

Charged in connection with the same incident were two juveniles, police said.

Thomas Shcmitt, 28, of 523 W. Washington St., and John Kelly, 20, of 1044 Main St., both of Slatington, were cited for harassment for an incident that occurred about 11:29 p.m. on June 4 at 2612 S. Walnut St.

Cale Kern, 34, of 1317 Pine Oak Lane, Slatington, was cited for driving under the influence (DUI), accidents involving damges to attended vehicle or property, and duty to give information and render aid. He was cited for an incident at 160 Main St., in the Sunoco station parking lot where he was involved in a hit and run accident, police said.

The incident occurred about 9:22 p.m. on June 17.
