Lock Haven University honors graduate

Jonathan E. Snyder, son of Edward "Skip" and Sandy Snyder of Weatherly, graduated summa cum laude from Lock Haven University during the 133rd commencement exercises held on May 7, at the university's Thomas Fieldhouse.

Snyder earned a bachelor of science degree in sport administration with a minor in media administration.

At a ceremony held earlier in the month, he received the Sport Administration Outstanding Field Experience award.

As a fulfillment of the course requirements, Snyder spent his final semester as a community relations Intern with the National Basketball Association's Charlotte Bobcats in Charlotte, N.C. For the past four years, he also served as a student manager for the Lock Haven Men's Basketball Team, the Bald Eagles.

Snyder, a 2006 Weatherly High School graduate, in the grandson of Earl "Bounce" and Rosalie Titus of Weatherly and the late Arthur and Minnie Snyder of Jim Thorpe.
