Couple celebrates golden anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hochberg of Lehighton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married July 2, 1960, at Zion UCC in Lehighton, by the Rev. Alton Leister.

Mrs. Hochberg is the former Joan Behler, daughter of Stella Behler of Bowmanstown; and the late John Behler.

Mr. Hochberg is the son of the late Carl and Helen Hochberg of Lehighton.

They have three children, Carlene Barchesky, who is married to James Barchesky of Latrobe, Pa.; Carl Hochberg, who is married to Ruth, of Lehighton; and Cathy Eckman, who is married to Joseph Eckman of Lehighton. They also have six grandchildren, Stephen, Elizabeth, Melissa, Lainey, Carter, and Anders; and four step-grandchildren.

A family party will be held in their honor.
