Althouse named to dean's list

Casey L. Althouse, of Lehighton, was named to the University of Scranton's dean's list for the spring 2010 semester.

The dean's list recognizes students of outstanding scolastic achievement. Althouse qualified for the accolade having earned a 3.88 grade point average.

She is the daughter of Mark and the late Lisa (Hewitt) Althouse, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hewitt. A 2009 graduate of Palmerton Area High School, Althouse is majoring in psychology at the univeristy.
