Stacy Allesch weds William Thigpen

Stacy Allesch became the bride of William Thigpen, both of Tamaqua, on June 12, 2010 at First Congregational Church, Coaldale. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Benack officiated the double ring ceremony. Edward Gogal was the organist, while Jason and Andrea Smithmyer were vocalists.

The daughter of Brenda Hebelka, Coaldale and Matthew Allesch, Tamaqua, the bride was given in marriage by her mother. She chose Kathryn Giordano, Lansford, as the matron of honor.

The bridegroom is the son of Kevin and Colleen Bauer, Lansford. He chose Steven Giordano, Lansford, as his best man.

A reception at Basile's in Tamaqua followed the ceremony.

The new Mrs. Thigpen earned a bachelor of science degree from Mansfield University in 2009. She is employed by the Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites in Hazleton.

Mr. Thigpen attended Panther Valley High School. He is employed at Wal-Mart in Tamaqua.
