Tamaqua couple celebrates 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. William R. Yost are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. They were married on July 16, 1960 by the Rev. Paul B. Kendall and the Rev. Hubert Kidd at St. John's U.C.C. Church in Tamaqua.

Mrs. Yost is the former Beverly K. Bradbury, daughter of Margaret Bradbury of Mahanoy City, and the late Joseph Bradbury.

Mr. Yost is the son of the late William and Alma Yost, formerly of Tamaqua.

The Yosts have two children: William, and his wife Shelly Yost of West Point, Pa.; and Beverly, and her husband Bernard Rockovich of Tamaqua. They have two grandchildren: David and Steven Yost of West Point.

A dinner in honor of the occasion will be held at The Restaurant at the Station in Tamaqua.
