Named to dean's list

Erin Rupell, of Lehighton, was named to the dean's list at Elmira College in Elmira, N.Y. for the spring 2010 semester.

Rupell is a biology/pre-dentistry major and a member of the Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society. She also serves as a resident assistant at the college, and is an active member of the Soaring Eagles women's basketball and softball teams.

Erin is the daughter of John and Rhonda Rupell of Lehighton. She is the granddaughter of Melvin and Maryann Muffley of Lehighton and John and Patricia Rupell of Palmerton.

She is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
