Pamela Houtz marries John Nickerson

Pamela Houtz and John Nickerson were united in marriage on June 12, 2010 at the Palmerton Borough Park.

District Judge Bruce Appleton officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Perma Berger, of Palmerton. Given in marriage by her mother, she chose Cindy Berger to serve as maid of honor and Peggy Feinhour-Stoss to serve as matron of honor.

The bridegroom is the son of the late John H. Nickerson and the late Patsy Tully. He chose Brian LeBar and Larry "Dinker" Smith to serve as best men.

Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at their home in Palmerton.

They took a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

The new Mrs. Nickerson is a graduate of Palmerton Area High School and is currently self-employed.

Mr. Nickerson is also a graduate of Palmerton Area High School and is an employee of Palomino Express, Inc.
