Earns Master's Degree at Duke Univ.
Richard Crowley, grandson of Helen and Frank Homcha of Nesquehoning, completed his master's degree at Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment, majoring in Energy Management with a Certificate Degree in Geospatial Analysis. The son of Peter and Pat Crowley of Princeton, N.J., he earned a bachelor of science degree in Environmental Policy from Colby College and has extensive experience in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) used in analyzing energy project dynamics, modeling and statistical analysis. He resides in Durham, N.C., with his wife, Jessica, and is employed by the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association. The firm advises governments and economic development groups on issues of policy, finance and economics.
