Lehighton couple wed 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Brown, Lehighton, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 2, 1950 in Jacob's U.C.C. Church, Weissport.

Mrs. Brown is the former Dorothy Bachman, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Bachman. She is retired from Scotties Fashions, Lehighton.

Her husband, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Brown, is retired from Kraft Foods, Fogelsville.

They have two daughters, Karen, wife of Larry Klotz of Lehighton; and Susan, wife of Patrick Conner of Tamaqua. They have three grandsons, Brad Klotz of New Jersey, Jason Klotz of Florida, and Matthew Rehrig of Korea. They also have a great-grandson, Justin Klotz of New Jersey.
