Lehighton couple wed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Dotter of Lehighton are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 24, 1960 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Weissport, by the Rev. Donald Repsher.

Mrs. Dotter is the former Faye Kuntz, daughter of the late Clarence "Tim" and Gertrude Kuntz, Weissport. Her husband is the son of the late Percy and Gussie Dotter.

The Dotters have two daughters: Susan, wife of Blaine Eckhart, of Lehighton; and Lisa, wife of Philip Yost, also of Lehighton. They have three grandsons: Matthew Eckhart, Lehighton; Logan Yost, Fort Bragg, N.C.; and Phil Yost, Collegeville, Pa.

The couple celebrated this special occasion with a family trip.
