Coaldale couple married 55 years

Mr. and Mrs. Adam "Mickey" Holota of Coaldale will celebrate their 55th anniversary next week.

The Holotas were married on Oct. 8, 1955 in St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church, Lansford, by the late Rev. John Kovacik.

Mrs. Holota is the former Lillian Svrchek. Mr. Holota is a former Tuscarora resident. He is a 24-year retiree of the United States Air Force.

The couple has four sons: Michael and Marty of Seattle, Wash.; Mark of Tucson, Ariz.; and Richard of Coaldale.

The Holotas plan to celebrate their anniversary with a trip to Tucson in the near future.
