The engagement of Jena L. Wassmer, Andreas, to Josh A. Wank, Lansford, has been announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Wayne and Lynn Wassmer of Andreas. She is a 2004 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and a 2008 graduate of Moravian College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English language/literature and elementary education. She is an elementary teacher in the Lehighton Area School District.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Albert and Karen Wank of Llewellyn. He is a 1999 graduate of Minersville Area High School, and a 2003 graduate of Penn State University, University Park, where he earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He is the seventh grade history teacher at Panther Valley Middle School, as well as the head girls basketball coach.
The couple currently resides in Lansford.
A wedding date is set for June 16, 2012.
