Zwolenik unbeaten at PSU-Hazleton

Tamaqua High School graduate Kristina Zwolenik had anoutstanding freshman tennis season at at Penn State Hazleton.

Zwolenik, the 2010, TIMES NEWS Tennis Player of the Years, competed at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for PSU-Hazleton and went undefeated during the regular season. Zwolenik had an 11-0 record in singles and 10-0 mark in doubles.

Zwolenik capped her outstanding season in the PSUAC tournament at Penn State's main campus by capturing the No. 1 singles women's title, ending her season with a perfect 13-0 record. Zwolenik also played in the PSUAC doubles tournament and advanced all the way to the finals before falling.
