Bechtel selected as October student observer

Each month during the school year, the Rotary Club of Slatington honors top senior students from Northern Lehigh High School as student observers.

Scott Bechtel has been selected as the student observer for the month of October. He is the son of Jack and JoAnn Bechtel of Slatington.

Scott is ranked in the top 10 of his class and is the president of both the Northern Lehigh Interact Club and the Assumption BVM Youth Group. He also participates is Soccer, where he was a co-captain of this year's varsity team, and Track & Field.

Scott has been selected as Northern Lehigh's Soccer Scholar Athlete. He plans to attend college, majoring in Pharmacy.
