Alzheimer's caregiver support

The Alzheimer Association Caregiver Support Group at Blue Mountain Health System meets monthly at 5:30 p.m. in the third-floor conference room at the Palmerton campus at 135 Lafayette Ave. in Palmerton. The next meeting will be June 26.

Donna Kravelk, a registered nurse on the Older Adult Behavioral Health Unit at BMHS, will facilitate the group, which is intended to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.

The meetings are free of charge and anyone seeking support and knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia is welcome to attend.
