The engagement of Brittany Hunsicker, Palmerton, to Douglas Miller, Andreas, has been announced by her parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dwight and Cheryl Hunsicker of Palmerton. She is a 2006 graduate of Palmerton High School. She is graduating this month from Millersville University with a degree in special education and elementary education.
She is employed at Country Junction and Blue Mountain Ski Area.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Douglas and Jeannine Miller of Andreas. He is a 2005 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and attended Delaware Valley College for agricultural business. He is employed by Cintas as a service representative for document management.
A wedding is planned for Aug. 11, 2012.
