Concourse Club of Palmerton names November Guiding Star
Elizabeth Mary Hahn
The Concourse Club of Palmerton will be honoring five Guiding Stars from the Palmerton Area School District. The Guiding Stars were chosen by a committee of high school teachers of the school district.
A Guiding Star must be a female, in the top 25 percent of the senior class, and involved in both school and community activities.
Each Guiding Star will receive a certificate, an engraved Guiding Star charm and a $100 cash award.
The November Guiding Star is Elizabeth Mary Hahn, daughter of Keith and Jean Hahn.
Her school activities include drama club, student council, FBLA, PAAC, yearbook, National Honor Society and chess club.
Her community activities include Relay for Life and being active at her church, which includes Vacation Bible School and Sunday School.
Elizabeth loves being outdoors, playing soccer and being active.
Her future plans include going to college and working toward a degree in veterinary science.
