Guns stolen from car in Schuylkill

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of two black handguns from a vehicle in Schuylkill County. Troopers said Kyle Strokelitus, of Pottsville, reported a Heckler/Koch 9 mm and a Sturn & Ruger LCP 380, were removed from the driver’s side area of his unlocked vehicle while parked in the area of 142 Main St., in Mount Carbon borough. The theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. June 7 and 10 a.m. on June 8.
