Guerilla Squad ends regular season unbeaten
The Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission summer basketball league wrapped up divisional play with the Guerilla Squad posting an unblemished 5-0 record to remain the league's lone undefeated team.
The first wave of divisional crossover games begin next week with three games scheduled for Monday evening at the North and Middle Ward Playground (beginning at 6:00 p.m.) and three games schedule for Wednesday night at the East End Park.

Monday, June 28
Phillips Lighting
-Cuz-N-Joe's Place
In a high-scoring affair, Cuz-N-Joe's Place drained 13 three-pointers in an 85-73 victory over Phillips Lighting.
Soko Mojovic scored 21 of his game-high 27 points in the second half, including five treys. Pat Sharkey (18 points), Jon Veet (16 points) and Nolan Sword (14 points) also posted big nights for Cuz-N-Joe's.
For Phillips Lighting, Damian Fritz and Bob Tugend scored 21 and 20 points respectively.
Versuvio's Pizzeria
-Service Electric
Service Electric jumped out to a 31-17 halftime lead, en route to a 60-56 victory over Versuvio's Pizzeria.
Jeff Peel topped Service Electric with 21 points, while Tom Zulkowski chipped in with 14.
For Versuvio's Pizzeria, Mike DeMarco scoed a game-high 29 points, 24 of which came in the second half. DeMarco also went 11-for-13 from the foul line.
West End Fire Co.
-M & M Catering
Leading 21-20 at the half, M & M Catering held West End Fire Company to just 13 points in the second half, as they cruised to a 53-33 victory.
Corey Houser paced M & M Catering with 15 points and Dan Semanchick tacked on 10.
West End Fire Company was led by Dave Langton's 16 points.
R.R. Frey Services
-Mr. Z's Contracting
Mr. Z's Contracting knocked R.R. Frey Services from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 59-56 victory. Mr. Z's jumped out to a 28-10 first-half lead and never looked back.
Tony Gomez poured in a game-high 27 points on 12 field goals to lead Mr. Z's Contracting. Matt Murphy and Ted Styka backed Gomez with 10 points apiece.
Jeremy Frey scored 27 points for R.R. Frey Services in the loss.
Wednesday, June 30
Service Electric-Guerilla Squad
The Guerilla Squad wrapped up divisional play undefeated with a 66-51 victory over Service Electric.
Dave Wilson scored 19 points to lead Guerilla Squad, while Jamel Boyd added 16 of his own.
For Service Electric, Jeff Peel had 16 points, including four three-pointers. Ron Abdo and Tom Zulkowski tacked on 15 points apiece in the loss.
R.R Frey Services-Phillips Lighting
R.R. Frey Services posted a 67-58 overtime victory over Phillips Lighting. Tied at 58 at the end of regulation, R.R. Frey Services shut out Phillips in the extra session, outscoring them 9-0.
Jim Barron topped R.R. Frey Services with 24 points and Jason Derr added 11.
Damian Fritz's 27 points on 12 field goals paced Phillips Lighting, while Bob Tugend chipped in 14 points.
Lucky's Deli

Schaeffer's Harley Davidson secured its first win of the season with a 66-57 victory over Lucky's Deli.
Mike Stankiewitch knocked in 10 field goals for 20 points to lead Schaeffer's, while Shawn Tray (19 points) and Zach Tofany (14 points) also posted double-digits on the night.
For Lucky's Deli, Jeff Krushinsky led the way with 21 points, while Aaron Dombrosky scored 18.
Vesuvio's Pizzeria-BGL Electric
Vesuvio's Pizzeria jumped out to a big first-half lead and cruises to a 74-54 victory over BGL Electric.
Carlos Rivas led Vesuvio's with 24 points on 11 field goals, while Chris Decker tacked on 17. Ibis Saracina and J.J. Reinmiller also added 15 and 14 points respectively.
Mark Mazur led Ray Ziegenfuss-coached BGL Electric with 26 points.
