Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 1:48 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1.

State police at Lehighton said Dagmara Krupa, 25, of Gilbert, was driving along SR209 near Berger Hollow Rd., in Polk Township, when stopped for several motor vehicle code violations. Krupa was placed under arrest for DUI and taken to the barracks for a breath test. Charges will be filed, troopers said.
