$10,000 worth of fireworks stolen

Pocono Mountain Regional police are investigating the theft of about $10,000 worth of fireworks.

Police said Peter Matra, 48, of Pocono Lake, reported that someone entered his propety, Bada Boom Fireworks, located along SR115, in Blakeslee and broke into a trailer located to the rear of his building. They removed the fireworks and fled the scene.

The incident occurred sometime overnight of Monday, June 28, and Tuesday at 9 a.m. when Matra discovered the theft. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at (570) 895-2400.
