Carbon driver facing DUI charge

A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 3.

State police at Fern Ridge said John Knoskie, 54, of Albrightsville, was stopped while operating a 1994 Dodge Dakota pickup truck through the Indian Mountain Lakes development in Penn Forest Township, in the area of Sycamore Drive. He was found to be intoxicated and was charged with DUI, troopers said.
