West End Missions is providing free meals to local needy families. It is a local non-profit organization created to help needy families in the area by providing them with food. Due to economic hardships, many families in the area find themselves without adequate resources for food. West End Missions is working to alleviate this problem. Beginning in July, West End Missions will be starting a nutritional program to serve a free dinner twice a week at the Salem United Church of Christ located on Gilbert Road, in Gilbert (behind the Turkey Hill at Route 209 and Gilbert Road). Food will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will be available every Tuesday and Thursday. Individuals and families are welcome to attend. For any questions regarding West End Missions, or for anyone who would like to volunteer, please call Mike at (610) 681-5321.
