Woman causes property damage
Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith handled reportable motor vehicle accident at the intersection of SR209 and Mermon Avenue July 5.
The driver, Rita Jean Billets, of Nesquehoning, struck a parked vehicle owned by Robert Phillips at 10 W. Catawissa St. and struck a utility pole. All three traffic lights attached to the pole became detached, shattering on the surface of SR209.
