Assault incident at youth camp

Four individuals are facing a charged of simple assault for an incident at a youth camp in Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred at the Camp Adams Youth Services facility in Penn Forest Township on July 2 about 11:30 p.m. Troopers said Michael Mansfield, 18, of Ladenberg, Philadelphia, was allegedly assaulted by Dominique Ra-Kim Parker, 18, Terrell Harris, 18, and two juvenile males, ages 17 and 14, all from the Philadelphia area.

Troopers said the four struck Mansfield with closed fists causing facial and head injuries.

Troopers also reported the arrest of a 16-year-old male juvenile for disorderly conduct following an incident along Clark Circle, in Ross Township, Monroe County, that occurred about 5:45 p.m. on July 6. The teen began throwing objects throughout his mother's residence before smashing a window with his fist. The same teen was charged with harassment for garbbing his mother by the arm during the incident.
