76th St. Joseph Festival in S.H. features fireworks, procession

The 76th annual St. Joseph Parish Festival in Summit Hill will be held tomorrow through Sunday, with a St. Gabriel Procession occurring at 3:30 p.m. Saturday and fireworks being fired Sunday after 10 p.m.

The festival features kiddie rides, homemade ethnic foods including halupki, halushki, bleenies, and funnel cake, and live entertainment.

Friday, the band It Takes Two performs from 7 to 10 p.m.

Saturday night entertainment features Becky and the Beasts from 7 to 10 p.m.

On Sunday, Asking Andy plays from 6-10 p.m. followed by the fireworks display.

The St. Gabriel Procession is new this year and will be followed by a benediction.

The festival opens at 6 p.m. Friday and at 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
