Schuylkill driver facing DUI count
A Schuylkill County driver, involved in a one vehicle crash early today, is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).
State police at Frackville sid Jeremy Colosimo, 22, of Shenandoah, was driving a 2008 Ford Fusion eastbound on West Place Road, in the village of Weston Place, West Mahanoy Township, about 1:48 a.m. when he drove off the road and struck a PPL pole.
Colosimo, who sustained a head injury but refused medical treatment, showed signs of intoxication and was transported to the barracks for a breath test. Troopers said the test showed his blood/alcohol content was above the legal limit of .08 percent.
Troopers said in addition to the DUI charge, Colosimo will also be charged with several motor vehicle code violations.
