Support group

If you provide care for someone with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or other physical or mental disabilities, the Blue Mountain Health System Adult Day Services Center, located at 217 Franklin Ave., Palmerton, invites you to attend its Family Caregiver Support Group meeting on Wednesday, July 28 from 6-8 p.m.

Join others and share suggestions and ideas to help support each other while learning to cope with the 24 hour-a-day job that can be physically and emotionally exhausting to the caregiver. The group offers free education and community support from caregivers like yourself who really do understand your daily obligations. Meetings are free and open to the public. Care is available for your loved one during the meeting.
