PV school board sets salaries, ticket prices

The Panther Valley School Board approved the following salaries for fall sport coaches at last night's regular board meeting.
Volleyball: Nancy Filer, $3450, LouAnn Brida, $1,550, Johnna Yurko, volunteer.
Cross country: Morgan Jones, $2,025, Michelle Markovich, $1550, Marie and Scott Griffiths, volunteers.
Golf, Larry Marek, $2450.
Girls basketball: William Lynn, $1825, Josh Wank and Roman Baran, volunteers.
Cheerleading: Hallie Seiwell, $1625, Heidi Seiwell, $737, Jamie Fedor, $538, and Jillian Miller, volunteer.
The following coachers were hired, without salaries:
Baseball: John Cooper, Jimmy Kravelk, Phil Shelton, Jr., Jeff Szczecina, Robert Fritzinger, Matt Davis, and Kyle Krajnak.
Softball: James Gilbert, Jill Zwiesdak, and John Gates.
Track and Field: Frank Damian, Morgan Jones, Terry Bonner, Fenton Black, Jr., Michelle Markovich, Marie Griffiths, and Francis O'Gorman.
Girls basketball: Josh Wank, Roman Barran, William Lynn, and Adrienne Blasko.
Boys basketball: Pat Crampsie, Keith Gogal, Mark Lazer, Shaun Midas, Andrew Michalik, Charley DePuy, Terry Bonner, and Ken Miller.
Wrestling: Tim Robb, Michael O'Donnell.
Swimming: Geri Vavra, Marie Griffiths, and Candice Gimbor.
Cheerleading: Hallie Seiwell, Heidi Seiwell, Jamie Fedor, and Jillian Shellhammer.
The Board set the following prices for fall sport tickets varsity football and volleyball, $4 adults, $2 students/senior citizens; JV football, junior high football, and junior high girls basketball, $2 adults, $1 students/senior citizens; fall season family of four, $60 (each extra person $15); fall season students/senior citizens, $20; fall season adult, $30. It was noted that the district will no longer sell senior lifetime passes, however, current passes will be honored.
The board also approved the payment for new lane lines and a new lane line reel for the pool, not to exceed $4,200.
