Monroe man facing charges

A Monroe County man is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Friday, July 23, about 7:55 p.m. at his residence.

State police at Lehighton said Paul Kenneth Henry, 27, of Box 4027, Saylorsburg R.4, Ross Township, allegedly assaulted a 20-year-old female from Saylorsburg. Troopers said Henry also used obscene and vulgar language while troopers were at the scene investigating the incident.

Henry was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.

Troopers are also investigating a harassment incident that occurred at Penn's Peak, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. Jessica Leigh Mecks, 27, of Schnecksville, reported she had her hair pulled and was scratched by an unknown male. The incident occurred about 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, troopers said.
