Son charged with striking his father

A son has been charged with harassment for striking his father during a dispute.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred on Saturday, July 24, about 10:27 p.m. along Spittler Road, in Pine Grove Township. Troopers said Paul Alvin Daubert Sr., 48, attempted to stop his son, Paul Alvin Daubert Jr., 25, from leaving the residence. An argument turned physical when the son punched his father several times in the face, troopers said.
