Slatington driver facing DUI count

A Slatingotn man is facing charges, including driving under the influence (DUI), following an incident in his borough.

Borough police said officers observed a vehicle being driven erratically along Main and Walnut sts., about 3:11 a.m. on July 29. Police conducted a vehicle stop and the driver was identified as Christopher Richard Deibert, 26, of 314 Main St. He was found to be under the influence, police said.

Deibert is facing charges of DUI, reckless driving, careless driving and driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
